I wrote a post about hand-drawn MAD animes a while ago, today I'll show you a new one which is extremely high quality. It uses Lucky☆Star's character which looks like the original but it is hand-drawn, and the subject is the opening animation of Haruhi.
Namaste means Hello in Indian.
This video is a remix of an Indian dancer's visual and Lucky☆Star OP music.
This reminded me of an old remix of Idolm@ster "Tettette" song + Michael Jackson.
I found the videos introduced in this post very cool so I'd like to reintroduce it here as the videos weren't embedded in the post: "Recently motion graphics is attracting attention in NicoNicoDouga? 最近ニコ動でモーショングラフィックスが注目され始めてる?[ja]",
"KineticTypography" is a video using OP music of an anime called Toradora and uses moving letters and illustrations to create the video.
Same creator made a similar video with Haruhi OP.
This one is AMAZING...! It was not in the original post but was recommended to be added in the comment section. I love it!
This one is was made by a student as a graduation project.

...and many more!
Souun Takeda (武田双雲) is my favorite Shodouka (Japanese calligraphy artist), his artworks are AWESOME. Almost all of his works are copyrighted so the only video I can put here is a 30sec clip officially distributed on YouTube by Discovery Channel:
NicoNicoDouga artists creates shodo arts and creates videos:
The artist's nickname is "Himajin Yanai (Himajin means he has lots of spare time...) the letters written on the video are the lyrics of the song by a musician called ACIDMAN.
Another video by the same artist:
I know it is difficult to understand what's happening but the artist
changes the style of the letters based on the lyrics, and for the 2nd
phrase starts playing around a bit more.
For example, this letter is "eye(目)", and the calligraphy looks like an eye:
Another example, this letter is "fly(飛ぶ)" and the letter looks like a person is flying:
This one is drawn by another artist called monomono, and the letters moves this time. The music and lyrics are from an animation called "Gintama", the main character is a man and you can see the letters are written with a strong and man-ly touch.
This one is drawn by monomono again, the music is from a game called Touhou, and the characters that appear in Touhou are girls, so the letters written here are much more softer and girly than the letters above.
There are lots of cooking videos in NicoNicoDouga,
and right now there is a cooking video contest taking place.
(Today, 5/5 is the deadline for submission)
You need to make some food using milk, shoot a video of your cooking and upload it to NicoNicoDouga.
There are a bunch of cooking videos that you can see here:
Bcause it is NicoNicoDouga, most of them are funny in some way :P
This one is very popular it's a mixture of Cat video popular to NicoNico lovers and cooking:
As you can imagine... NicoNico Tech Club will surely join this contest with their unique geeky cookings.
This one is jelly with plasma inside so that it will glow in the dark...
This one is another jelly using Arduino to make the LED glow with roulette patterns.
This one starts with creating the tool to cook!
This one is French Toast NicoTechClub-stlye- and has Miku character on the toast
Update:
Augmented Reality cheese toast - AR marker made with nori(seaweed), Miku dancing on the toast!
There are many train otakus in Japan, and there's a bunch of train-related videos in NicoNicoDouga too.
If you have ever visited Tokyo, you'd probably tried the JR Yamanote line, the major train in Tokyo that circulates in a loop. This video is from a concert of musicians playing the bells of Yamanote line in each station.
This one is by Jimuin-G, a musician that I wrote a post about last year.
He thought the bells of those stations were short, and created a music out of the bells.
This creator made Hatsune Miku sing the Yamanote line bells.
Miku Yamanote line video evolved to this video:
Some people started making MAD animes using train photos.
This is the comparison video (on your left you can see the original anime music, on your right you can see the "train" version)
Something similar- MAD video of "Kikyu(Keihin Kyuko Line) trains" with Opening video of anime called "Keion"
There's a lot of singers, dancers, performers etc in NicoNicoDouga world,
I even found a choreographer named Raji-P who creates dances using MikuMikuDance.
If you don't know what MikuMikuDance is, it's a free 3D modeling tool that enabled lots of 3D anime beginners
to create 3D animes for the first time, and this software was made by one of the NicoNico lovers.
Please read my other post:
It looks like Raji-P had become ill or injured (I'm not sure which) and was in the hospital,
and he or she created this video coreography of "White Letter" in the hospital.
Celebrating Raji-P's hospital discharge, people started to create videos using Raji-P's dances
and started an event called "Raji-P cup"
Mini-Miku dances to "White Letter" with a dolphin
Miku dances to "White Letter" in the outer space
Mini-Miku dances to "Hakoiri Musume"
It's not only about Hatsune Miku... someone made a model of anime characters of "Keion"
and made a video to dance to "White Letter"
MikuMikuDance -user generated 3D modelling tool- started with only Hatsune Miku as the character,
but it has been developping.... and now there is even a model of Yabeno Hikomaro of the Nico-Nico famous Omyoji video.
Anyways... welcome back from the hospital, Raji-P!
